Immutable source layer. LLM reads but never modifies files here.

What goes here

  • Web-clipped articles (via Obsidian Web Clipper → markdown)
  • PDFs converted to markdown
  • Podcast/video notes (raw transcript or personal notes)
  • Course materials, paper summaries
  • Job descriptions saved for reference
  • Any external content you want ingested into the wiki

What does NOT go here

  • Your own analysis or synthesis → goes in wiki domain dirs or synthesis/
  • Processed/summarized content → goes in wiki
  • Daily/weekly trackers → stay in Private/Project_2026/

Conventions

  • Filename: YYYY-MM-DD — Source Title.md
  • Frontmatter: source_url, source_type, date_clipped, ingested: true/false
  • After ingestion: set ingested: true and note which wiki pages were updated

assets/

Downloaded images from clipped articles. Obsidian: Settings → Files and links → Attachment folder path → raw/assets/. Bind hotkey Ctrl+Shift+D to "Download attachments for current file".
